Definitely don’t have a checkered past as I’ve never even been banned or disciplined in any way in 20+ years on RR or any other site. And, last night was the first time I’ve ever been on this site. Nbd, just wanted to clear that up & prevent any preconceived biases against me, lol. I want to at least EARN a checkered past reputation if I’m gonna have one.

Hey everyone! Good to see some familiar faces as well as all the new folks here. Thought I would give this board a try along with discord and the new On3 free board. What’s everyone’s thoughts so far? This looks legit!

Haven't found any On3 free board. Every time I tried to go there all I saw was pay in order to register. So, I think I will give up on them. I just have to get used to the differences on this board which I've struggled with a bit. Mostly, I think, because I am so used to what we all had at Rivals RR.

Try hitting the three dots to the right of a post. There's some quirks here, like not knowing what notification you have. We'll get it figured out.

I've changed boards before, and we've changed formats here before because of software revisions etc. It's wild...especially if you've been on one place a long time. Even small changes are crazy and disconcerting to the eye.

What I've noticed is that it goes away pretty quickly and you just kind of adapt. When we had the aforementioned situation back on WCF and we all came over here, I remember telling myself there was no way in hell I'd stay on this board. And this is YEARS ago, so a much different look than it is now. By a couple weeks I didn't even notice it.

We had a thing at work once where we had to change a font in our documents. All of us frigging HATED it. Hated. To the point where people were basically saying, "Nope, not doing that even if they threaten to fire me." Now we use that new font and occasionally a document will come up with the old font...and it's horrifying how bad it looks lol.

I just moseyed over to Rupp's Rafters to see what was what... and holy crap... talk about screwing the pooch.

I saw a Matt Jones post, so I assume that On3 has combined Rivals with KSR to make one big pay board?

What a terrible, terrible decision.

I don't know the specifics, but I'm guessing Rowland wasn't lying or trying to pull a fast one. He probably just didn't know the specifics and was flying by the seat of his pants.

Anytime you put a large migration like this into the hands of a corporate conglomerate that has no understanding of how a board works, you're gonna get the sort of clusterf that we're seeing.

I feel sorry for Rowland and those dudes, because they work hard and I'm sure they're embarrassed with how this has all gone down.
