Rafters is pretty much dead. It expired a couple days ago. What was suppose to replace it over at On3 is a joke. Most of the Rafters folks have now moved over here. This is where all the cool people are. I suggest you hang out with us. Hehe.

I can't think of many worse user experiences than what they did, taking a hardcore dedicated group of users, jerking them around for two weeks, and then breaking the system and hoping Matt Jones serving as a calming voice would be enough to keep everyone happy. They bought a product and then immediately alienated their most dedicated user base. Some people might call that a bad approach. I'm not sure what the rules are on profanity here yet, so I'll just stick with that for now.

They're trying to do a reboot on the new site at On3. They've really bungled things, at least communication. Lot's of RR refugees landed here, glad you found it.

I finally managed to get my account registered over there at On3. But there is very little activity and seemingly zero sense of direction. I have no idea why they chose July 1st as the migration date. It wasn't smart to do that right before a major holiday where the entire staff was going to be off BBQing, drinking beer and watching the fireworks. The only people attempting to help users having problems are other users. Other than one or two posts from Matt Jones last week, I've seen nothing from any of the site staff. And the bulk of the people that are there mostly seem unfamiliar, almost like they are people who just joined when the site went live.

I'll check out the place from time to time and wish them no bad luck. But this feels more like home to me here, so I'll mostly be hanging out on this forum and chatting on the Discord. I would have honestly registered and started posting here long ago, but I really didn't know WCN even existed until just recently. I had been under the impression that when WCF ceased to exist, that there wasn't a replacement. I was once active on all the major UK sites, to include WCF, Rivals, and Scout.

We are thrilled to have you new guys here, whether you've been here before or are just finding us. Other than myself there are great people running this site and some very knowledgeable and loyal forum members. Very proud to have been a part of both WCN and WCF from the beginning. I miss Mel everyday. I hope he and lighthouse are looking down and smiling.

Over the next week there will be upgrades that will give you guys better controls. Sean is working hard transitioning everything over. I want to thank the staff of WCN for their sacrifice in making this happen. Not a better group of Wildcat fans anywhere. Just great people that I am proud to know.

Welcome again everybody!! Can't wait for the new duds and basketball & football season to start so these forums are rocking.
