Can't understand how St. John's is such a bad shooting team. They don't even have the situational dude over there on the bench to come in when they need a 3. Even these 16 seeds have that.

Seems like a massive problem in this era...and it turned out to be.

A couple things about the officials. First, the St. Johns-Arkansas game was called as good as could be with the game the players gave the officials. Next, there have been and will continue to be late whistles. Because for some reason the NCAA have told their officials it's best to replay a play to make sure before blowing the whistle instead of after. Officials, I can only imagine, don't like it because it often looks like they're waiting to see if the shot goes in before making the call.

That said, Billy Richmond had maybe his best game of the year so freshmen did play a major part in that.

Good news is now that they actually won two games in a tournament, the whole team will be gone this off-season including Fland, Knox ,Richmond, Z, Wagner, and the juniors and Seniors.
