...and Cal refuses to call a timeout to set up a last second shot.

    Some things NEVER change.

I was having PCSD (post Cal stress disorder) during the 2nd half and OT.

For the life of me I'll never understand not fouling up three.

You'd think the man would've learned his lesson back years ago in the national championship game, but I guess not.

He has already told us repeatedly that he's not going to do that, ever. Let's believe him.

I fell asleep on the couch and woke up after it was over. Did Cal go stall ball with a lead? Last I remember, they were up by double digits.

Hahaha should be an easy day of work. No way my Arkansas fan boss is coming in today.

There was some, yes. The problem with the prevent offense is that one must score in the prevent offense, or stop your opponent from scoring. They did either.

the missed front-end of the 1-and-1 when up 3 with under 30 seconds to go was so Deja vu.

the whole game was the previous 5-8 years distilled down to one game: show promise with athletic plays, then crash down to earth in bad plays and find a way to lose.

obviously every loss wasn’t like that. Some were blow outs 😎

                it was: typical.

“If there was an upset on the first weekend…” then you had a 3 in 4 chance of missing it! That’s such an idiotic thing.

What in the world? Does he realize that just because something is on TV it doesn't mean you don't have to watch it?

I don’t know if he’s trying to make an argument about the value of scarcity, or danger of over-saturation, maybe, but either way it’s stupid.

I think he's saying that most people don't really want to watch the games, they just want to see scores, fill in their brackets, and catch the marquee games. Like they did in the old days.

Now that they're all on, it doesn't have the same mystique.

I don't agree with that at all because it's stupid, but I think that's what he's saying.

In general the point about how "nobody really wants to actually watch" is probably true. College basketball is a niche outside of places like this, the northeast, Indiana, a few other spots. And betting on the bracket is absolutely not a niche. So there's a great wash of people who probably don't watch at all except to see how they're doing in their pool.

Meh, nothing has changed. He can set his TV on CBS and throw the remote away. Done, welcome to the 90s.

It’s clickbait plain and simple. Only thing missing was a knock on UK fans for kidnapping Cal and chaining him to the Arkansas bench.

I cut it off with 14 to go in the second half, I assumed Arkansas had it in the bag.
