The guy who was pushed fell down intentionally to make it look like he'd been mauled...which is a common thing players use to try and dupe officials.

There's a bunch of little stuff that happens that makes them stop games, go to the monitor, talk to coaches, huddle up and talk for five minutes, have another conference with the coaches, go to the TV guys and explain it to them...all because of an incident that wouldn't have even been mentioned once by anyone back in the day.

It's like he doesn't see the court well. You don't see him setting up his teammates a lot, he makes his own shots more difficult...I don't know, just not the guy I thought we were getting during his recruitment. I thought he could be a star in year two.

The best version of him is the guy who played against us, sadly. Gotta make a couple of outside shots to loosen things up and make it easier on you when you drive. Otherwise you just get backpedaled on, so when you get in there it's a forest of arms and elbows.

I think Brazile earned that flagrant 1, even if Ejuifor did sell it heavily.

Will, I understand the player acted, but that doesn't change the fact the other player intentionally pushed him. He earned and deserved a T.

              Facts

Of course his outside shots went down against us. Actually he played pretty decent to get Arkansas out of the dumps and into the tournament but today, doing too much.

Coincidentally, Fland returns and DJ is back to his old self.

St. Johns pounding the boards and Arkansas getting in serious foul trouble with too much time on the clock.

The St. John's guy weighs 375 pounds. Brazille couldn't out bench press me. That was ridiculous.

Thankfully, you haven't seen a whole lot of that in the tournament. In the SEC season the flopping, acting, selling, dance moves to get fouls, guys acting like they've been shot after a little shove...it was ridiculous, especially if guys like Shows and Pat Adams were on the call.

This tournament has mostly been a breath of fresh air, tbh. Thought our game last night was great.

St. John’s going to mess around and blow this game.

Arkansas is playing with nothing to lose while St. John’s is timid.

This is the same Arkansas team that lost to South Carolina by 20 on March 1.

Cal feasts when there's a challenge. Pitino being anointed as the best ever, Cal's an underdog, Arkansas had an up and down year, everybody handing the game to St. John's...makes sense that Arkansas plays this way.

Where Cal struggled was the Oaklands, the St. Peter's, the COVID seasons. No lights, no glory, no heat. Same reason you go out there and get trounced by a bad South Carolina team.

Suggests a kind of coach's ADD...and another reason why I'm glad to be rid of him.

However this is a huge win, for his legacy as much as anything.

Lord help us if Cal goes further than Pope in the tournament. The idiot fans will be out in the masses.

I agree, I have mentioned this as well, he's a big game bright lights coach.

As much I like Rick ,my favorite coach all time that I would argue maybe the best to ever do it, I'm pulling his card 😆 🤣 😂
