It looks like through the first 6/7 games of the SEC season the surprise in the conference is probably Missouri. They're sitting in the spot I think most felt Kentucky could be in at this point.

They were winless in the SEC a season ago.

I sat there and watched three SEC games last night: Auburn/LSU, Ole Miss/Texas, Alabama/Mississippi St.

None of the teams Kentucky needed to win won those games. I assumed Auburn would crush LSU, but it was relatively close. But the others could've gone either way...and neither could get it done.

Watching Mark Sears is something. You can't stop the guy from getting the ball to where he needs it to go. And then if Alabama misses, they've got all those springy rebounders crashing in there to just grab rebounds. They're very tough. I think they could win it all.
