Who held him accountable? It certainly wasn't the AD. Make no mistake. If Cal hadn't walked or breached his contract or however you want to put it, he'd be on the sidelines in Rupp.
I guess the fanbase was putting pressure on him and he grew tired of dealing with us. I have to admit, I'd get tired of dealing with us too at times. He's not beating the likes of Duke, Gonzaga, UT, Florida...

Just put Calipari back at Kentucky with the record he had this year at Arkansas....the fanbase would have ran him out of Lexington with an 0-5 SEC start. He wouldn't have been able to walk his dog in the mornings without a mob of fans and reporters hounding his every step.

I woke up this morning thinking dang, Calipari is in the elite 8, was kind of ticked and wondering where was this the past 4 years?

Was shocked to see the score, they where dominating that game and Texas Tech player demeanor looked defeated.

The fact we have a game tonight with our season still alive, not going to talk crap about Calipari and Arkansas at this moment, no bad vibes heading into the night.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t 100% sure they’d lose, but as soon as it was down to 9pt I was like “ah, I remember this”, and then thought “no, he’s trying to prove he’s still got it and won’t let them come back”.
