I want to say "I don't care as long as he can play basketball"...but that's not true. You can't have a tyrant on your team no matter how good he is.
BUT if he's just a salty guy, a sort of goon figure, and gets along with his teammates and coaches and doesn't break the law, then I can live with the guy being a tool on a Barstool podcast.
I do go over to Rivals and cringe at how much crap those posters talk about him. However I don't know a lot about the guy other than just reading around social media so I admit ignorance.Comment

Just went over there and saw a guy say the portal is for losers and guys who can't get playing time, thus we don't need Dickinson.
I swear to God it's amazing some of those guys have the sense to exist in the world. And the problem is Rivals has some of the best posters...but they get swallowed in the truly horrendous, almost obscene takes you have to wade through.Comment

Maybe but not like that guy was.
What I've read on here sometimes is simply that Cal has lost his touch and has had to dip in to the portal more than he should be doing. Not that the portal is inherently bad or that the players in there are bums, which is what this guy was saying.Comment

Kyle Tucker said last night that Dickinson was probably headed elsewhere but Oscar could return and we might have one more hitting the portal.
Hard to speculate on who the player could be. Reeves, Livingston, Thiero are the obvious contenders.
Tucker in his tweet also said that Dickinson was "underwhelmed by the facilities," which is interesting when you think about what Cal was talking about early in the season. Sounds like somebody on the staff trying to feed Tucker info in an attempt to deflect from the Dickinson miss.Comment

Tucker said in a later tweet that the possible transfer isn't Thiero, thankfully. My money would be on Livingston, with Ware as a dark horse.
I agree re: the facilities. Cal's likely using this as further leverage against Mitch.
As for the possible incoming player exploring other options, it'd have to be Dillingham or Bradshaw. They're the only two who seriously considered the G-League/OTE route before committing to UK. If it happens and it's Dillingham, fine. Whatever. Go get Dingle and be better off for it. If it's Bradshaw? Full-court press on Grant Nelson.Comment

I just can't handle social media at times, the ignorance of it all from keyboard warriors who are absolutely clueless, it's mind boggling to say the least...
Anyways, doubt we get Dickinson but noticed Cal was taking photos with LITTLE WAYNE the other day(Recruiting 101), Cal still likes to paint that image that it's still cool to play at Kentucky through all the noise...Comment

I have to think he's gonna have a seriously hard time pulling in any other big man if the possibility that Oscar may return is floating out there.
If Dickinson passes I think it's a very real possibility that we don't get anybody else except maybe Dingle. We're walking it to the wire now.Comment
