Really impressed with UCLA's Jaime Jaquez. He was the best player on the court I thought. Skill + Toughness are two hugely important traits to have in college basketball. I hope the guys we have returning next season took some notes on the way Jaquez played that game.Comment

I'm interested in this as well. I'll almost guarantee this year is an outlier. The 2020 class being soft, losing those three guys to the G-league out of that class, and COVID rewarding older, more established players had to have played in to this.
Regardless though this is the wave of the future. From now on you better be old, you better be skilled, and you better have shooters. You can already feel the NBA and the Euro influence on college basketball, and that doesn't reward teams who are super young.Comment

The lack of freshmen isnt as surprising when a good number of uber talented kids make the jump right out of high school to some type of professional rank. But, due to covid, transfers and just a really bizarre year this season could be the biggest anomaly.
Next couple years will be interesting to watch and see how it plays out.Comment

Man, if the title game isn’t Baylor vs Gonzaga we’ve all been robbed.
Both of those teams just look miles ahead of everyone.Comment

I'm not sure how you beat Gonzaga. I've watched them four, maybe five times and I have no idea how you would even go about making it a game. The only thing they don't have is much depth but depth is overrated anyway. Their starting five is up there with the greatest first five in recent history IMO.
Timme getting in foul trouble is the only way I can maybe see it happening. He's the key to what they do so losing him would be a tough blow. He's like a point center.Comment

Arkansas has been disrupted a lot tonight, mostly though I think this is just Arkansas and Baylor playing a high octane game. Baylor can play pretty tough d if needed.
I think USC could trip Gonzaga up a bit tomorrow night though. May not win but might give them trouble.Comment
