One of the best basketball games I've ever seen. I felt terrible for Johnny. He was incredible.

I thought so too actually.
Which is ironic, because I usually hate the charge with the intensity of a million suns.
But if you're going to call it, it should be because the offensive player is out of control. Which Juzang was in that situation.
Usually it's called because the defender slides over at the last second and falls down even though the offensive player is just making a normal basketball play. Or else because the defender flops.
That play was fine for me because Juzang drove from 30 feet out in a straight line with his eyes at the rim. Which is a shame, because he made the right play almost every other time during the game.👍 1Comment

Speaking of Duke, how will the NCAA ever be able to make it up to the Blue Devils for leaving them out of the tourney this year? It would be hard to give them a more favorable draw than usual next year.Comment

And the #1 and #2 is without question. Gonzaga is the best team I have seen since our 38-1 season, which was the best team since our 96 season. This team is special. I still hope they lose.Isaiah 5:20👍 1Comment

^^^^ Ahhh the memories of the 14/15 TeamI was so geared up out here in CA (would've thought I was a Kentucky native) folks would ask me "are you from Kentucky?"-Lol
Did you hear Cal on Game Day recounting the story of the Wisconsin game and our perfect season run...gave me PTSD all over again!Lol.
Oh, and have y'all noticed lately when Cal is interviewed he always has to mention people celebrating our down-fall season and that he can't wait to get back to work!Comment

It's amusing that you don't hear much about that Villanova half court shot that cost UNC the title a few years ago.
In terms of buzzer beater shots, I can name 4 that are incredible in my life time. The Laettner shot, the Bryce Drew/Valpo shot, the Villanova Shot, and the Suggs shot.
Rank 'em how you want.Comment

The more incredible shot in the game was Carolina's that game just before that game-winner.Comment

That was a great shot but I don't think it was a half-courter. Believe he just hit a long three. The shot it was most reminiscent of was probably Mario Chalmers' for Kansas in the year they beat Cal's Memphis team.
The more incredible shot in the game was Carolina's that game just before that game-winner.
If distance is the criteria, then Suggs > Laettner.Comment
