So, Askew and Allen are back. Fletcher is gone.

I would say Sarr, Jackson and Clarke are gone.

I would say Boston and Brooks and maybe even Toppin go through the draft process.

Mintz and Ware are wildcards at the moment.

I am pleasantly surprised Allen is coming back.

This should be pretty obvious to everyone. Anyone thinking Boston will ultimately come back is just hoping.

No surprise, but man, what a farce.

I'm kind of back and forth on Boston. I wouldn't be that surprised or disappointed to see either happen.

I liked him in about five games this year, but the question would be if he can bottle up those five games and build on them. If he doesn't toughen up I'm not sure he can play professional basketball anywhere in the world, much less in the United States.

I think he could develop into a nice college player, but losing his abilities won't kill us. However, I'll always be "upset" (relatively speaking) if a player leaves when it's obvious that he shouldn't, because we have to develop some continuity. We're never going to repair our culture or perception until guys start sticking around. Even if it doesn't make a ton of sense roster-wise, or the player isn't the best thing since AD, right now we need guys to stay in this program.

As I've said before, I don't like it when a player comes to college with the NBA in mind, underachieves, and then splits anyway when he knows he shouldn't.

Boston can become a player, but unless he buys into adding strength, muscle, and toughness it's not going to happen. He's going to get mauled in the G league by some grown men on a nightly basis. I for one would've loved to see him return after a summer of working out in our program. If he thinks he will have anywhere near the same resources that he would have had at UK this summer he is dreaming. Personal trainers, dieticians, just unlimited resources to grow and succeed. Oh well, he will not go down in my memory bank as anything more than an overrated top recruit that underachieved and jumped ship after one year, unfortunately that list is getting longer every year.

An addendum to this is that individually I can respect each kid's choices, and a kid that doesn't wanna be here isn't gonna be any good anyway.

But I don't like the system that creates these expectations.

I really hope Mintz comes back, honestly as much for the team as for himself. He needs to experience Rupp and it's fans at full force. That night he went bonkers and was draining three's, all I could think was man, Rupp would be rocking right now.

I’d like to see him have a season here where we’re not only in the tournament but seeded higher than Creighton. I sincerely hope he doesn’t regret transferring here.

Cool. But this has been the case for months.

                                I assumed Clark would reclassify.

He's a dynamic player but don't know if he could be as dynamic next year if he would be if he waited. But he has everything you want in an explosive guard of the type Cal has had in the past.

He will be 18 in July so he isn't Michael Kidd-Gilchrist young, but you'd rather get him as a 19-year-old. I don't think Kentucky is going to have that luxury however because we obviously need elite talent ASAP.
