I just saw, in one of our local papers, that the Gov. has ordered restaurants to cease serving people in dining rooms. He hopes to have it eff. by 5:00 this afternoon. Drive through is still in play.

We've used Grubhub a few times. We ordered pizza from a local pizzeria (that didn't offer delivery service) just this past Friday night and Grubhub delivered to us.

I doubt it's available in many Kentucky cities, but if you're in Louisville/Lexington it's very easy. Takes about three minutes to order. It gets there at about the same time generally that it takes for regular take-out to arrive, though I imagine they may be strained a little due to the closures and so on.

Doordash is another company that offers the same service but I've never used that.

I would think that Grubhub and Doordash are both going to be swamped. Major delays on delivery. I could be wrong, but it would only make sense.

Yeah. I still think this is overkill but will abide. My wife and I are staying in, watching some old movies, Andy Griffith, The Waltons and many other old shows that are enjoyable and clean entertainment. Praying a lot for all you guys here on WCN, and all who have this virus and our Leaders. We need to remember Almighty God is still in control and His Word say's, This too shall pass.

They can do carry out as well. Restriction is no dine in.

But on Monday Beshear said his order will still allow restaurants to do takeout, drive-through and delivery, if they want to.

I don't know. I'd like to think there's going to be some sort of leveling out before the eventual downturn, but you might be right.

There's probably not a bandaid they can put on it right now.

It's still a downward trend but I don't think the violent swings will stop until the new announcements about precautions, bans, and "helpful economic actions" slow down. I wish I had had the foresight to bounce in and out with 10000 every other day these past weeks.

I cook a lot. Made a meatloaf this morning. Divided it half and froze them. Pot roast tonight for supper. Will freeze what is left over. Bought other meats that will get frozen. We are good for a while.
