I didn't hear this myself, but per another board Matt Jones hinted that Vanderbilt will have surgery.

If true then Vanderbilt is almost assuredly back.

He didn't hint it, he flat-out said that Vanderbilt is going to have surgery. And then immediately said "whoops, I wasn't supposed to say that."

Knox's dad says that the family discussed it this weekend and that a decision is "imminent."

The only reason Knox wouldn't go through the process is if they're worried about immaturity or something. I've thought for months his age may bring him back to Kentucky.

But with his length and tools and upside, you wouldn't think he'd fall below the middle teens. Late teens at the absolute lowest. He could also go in the top ten with some good workouts. Obviously, that's extremely hard to pass up even if you're financially okay as it seems the Knoxes are.

Shai is announcing his "decision" on Tuesday night, but based on the fact that we've offered Hagans, then it's pretty obvious he's out the door already.

I expect Diallo to leave, just because he wants to be somewhere else.

I'm still torn on Kevin Knox. My head tells me he's gone, but my heart wants to believe all that chattering going on about him staying. Let's say he did stick around, and we landed Montgomery and Hagans (which is looking more likely by the day). What would the roster look like?

What a powerful roster that would be. Players like Bol Bol, Langford, and maybe even Williamson, Reddish and Barrett hold that team USA loss against Cal but if a few come back and we land our targets, Duke and many of them kids may end up eating there words by the time Cal is done next year, we will have a powerful team if all goes well....

Knox went home to Tampa this weekend and decided that he wants to come back for another year at Kentucky, and then came back and talked to the other guys.

Hence, Shai's second thoughts and cancelled presser.

I'm not going to get ahead of myself, but there is a chance that we actually get all these guys back. And, if we did... oh my.

As much as i hate to wait, i guess no news is good news, means these kids haven't made up there mind and that the decision is very hard which tells me playing at Kentucky really means alot to them. If for once this team would just come back and i mean all of them, we can take our place again at the top of college basketball. I would love to see our team return and face Duke and all of it's new talent, i think many including myself would get off that "Cal can't coach or recruit" train that's been hurting us the past year or so..................

Here's a story from SEC Country that was posted on twitter. It says Cal advised Knox to come back next season. That's a switch! Maybe Cal finally sees the light that you have to have a good core of veterans to win it all.
