I read a rumor the other day Vanderbilt was given a "verbal" by a team in the second round, think it was OKC maybe, not sure. Thinking back and looking for a player i would compare Vanderbilt with, it would be Royce White because of his ball handling skills. Royce was actually a great college player and who knows, if Vanderbilt would have played for a team that could have put the ball in his hands, who knows what type of player he may have become provided he stayed a few years.

With that being said, Vanderbilt may make a living by going the Kenneth Faried route but seriously doubt any team will put the ball in his hands and let him go the Ben Simmons route. MKG has survived in the league without a jumpshot but Vanderbilt is not even close to being on a MKG level.

Overall, bad decision by Gabriel and Vanderbilt, at least in my opinion as a fan. The days of players wanting to come back for a college Championship is long gone, at least at Kentucky it is.

I keep hearing these things about "the kid could use the money" or "the family" needs money, are ya'll doing you research? How much money ya'll think they make in the G league? This is why you must go first round of the NBA draft and the earlier the better. Even then, you don't actually really start making any real long term money until your rookie deal is up and you sign your second deal. Now just because you are labeled a "pro" doesn't mean that you still don't have expenses, how easy is it to spend money here and there while you are on the road traveling, trust the little things at the airport including food etc all add up. Then like any other young man you want to make sure you have very nice clothes, the newest gear, the shoes, etc? If you have a agent, how much of that does he get with your little league minimum or G league/Overseas contract?

If someone can post an accurate roster for 18-19 I would be very appreciative of it. Thanks
