This morning, Matt Jones shared what he's hearing about which Kentucky players will stay and which will go to the NBA Draft this summer. Interestingly, Matt said he's hearing that, for the first time in the John Calipari era, there isn't a player who is 100% certain they will go pro, and the decisions are more in flux than ever.

I think we need Hami and Wenyen to come back if we're gonna be a true contender next season.

I'd love to have Hami back but I feel he's replaceable. You'd think Keldon Johnson will step into that role and play it better. If Johnson is on a wing you would hope Quade and Herro give us much more shot-making.

I agree about Wenyen because I think he's close to becoming a breakout player, at least in the SEC. To me Vanderbilt and Wenyen are the two guys you really need to keep because I don't think we have anybody in the recruiting class really like them.

If both those guys go then it'll be a tough blow because at that point--barring another commitment or a grad transfer or something--PJ will have to be the guy at the 4 virtually all the time. That'd be tough.

Knox can only improve himself by staying. He is a first rounder this year and will be next year also. Personally, the only one I want to leave is Diallo.

You do have Sacha but...I agree. You really need Wenyen back.

I'm not sold that Quade is anything more than a role player - definitely not a replacement for Hami.

There are differences in money though between the rest of the first round and the lottery. Guys fall out of the lottery by staying now and then.

I don't think it would make a huge difference but it could theoretically.

For once wouldn't it be a miracle if a band of brothers came together and all decided to come back and chase a Championship together? In today's day and age it's a long shot, it's a business, it's not the way it works but we can all dream right? If players like Ulis, twins, WCS, Patterson,Jones and others can come back, so can this bunch.

I feel the opposite about those two players. Hard to see Hami as a breakout player. I mean he might get there, but he looks like he has all kinds of holes in his game to me. His year was pretty putrid except for a few flashes here and there.

I think Quade could be one of these guys who's a college star. Likely won't happen next year but I think he could be a beast if he stuck and matured. (In fairness, Hami could be too because he'd just be so physically intimidating at 22 years old, but I don't think he'll stay that long even if he came back next year.)

Quade might want to play point guard however and that's going to be implausible with Quickley coming in. Would hate to lose him.

Tyra played baseball at UK. Graduated in 1988.

I've heard Tyra is a UK grad but don't think he played basketball there. Not sure how old he is. Maybe its possible if he is before my time and just a role player maybe I would not be aware of him.

Oops, my thumbs are not that fast. I see now Will has confirmed Tyra played for UK.

I personally think Diallo put so much pressure on himself to one and done to the NBA it hurt his game. Prime example of thinking to much and not playing basketball and having fun. He had the pressure of trying to prove to everyone he could hit a jumpshot, the list goes on and on. If he does come back, i still think he can make a impact....

                                Absolutely.

Give me the chance to develop raw talent every day of the week.

The Buffalo post-game locker room video is all the proof you need that the kid wasn't a team cancer. Teammates don't respond that way to a guy they don't like.
