It may come back to Cal but there's certainly nothing there right now that has much to do with Cal.

I would assume there's going to be another info dump at some point. This is way below what Yahoo! teased at the start. Either their info was wrong or they're going to dole this out in pieces.

I think they sensationalized it and hyped it to be something more than it actually is. They even include all these players and their families that just met with agents and had a meal for really no reason at all just to get clicks and attach well-known names to the story.

Call me naïve but I've had a strange calmness about all this from the day the story broke. Not saying Bam, Knox, Noel or maybe others have never had an impermissible meal but I just don't feel our program is as dirty as a lot of others and I doubt we get hit too hard when this is done. If major changes come to the way college sports operate--so be it. We were one of the best programs the way it has been and I bet we'll be one of the best in whatever it becomes. I'll shed no tears if the NCAA crumbles. UK and college sports will not.

Nobody is arguing that the NCAA could, if these allegations are true, vacate last year's games.

I'm skeptical for a number or reasons, the first of which is that there are SO many players and schools involved with this. I'm guessing the NCAA wants to stay as far away from this as possible.

Combine that with what his coach said and I think it was the dude that was around him named Peachtree or something who got that $$ and who went away when Bam committed to UK....

No. Camby was at the school when he took those benefits.

Bam was a high school kid in North Carolina.

And Camby didn't come inside a wave of other athletes who were caught up in the same scandal. Bam may be one of dozens in this case.
