I'm up for whatever. If we don't go that route, then the snake draft is the best way to go. We could also do the random draft order for the first round, then rotate everyone up one pick per turn until we fill our teams.Comment

How many players did we draft last year? I can only remember 8 that I drafted but I feel like it was more.Comment

Thought of a fun little twist we could add. Could do it a couple different ways. Designate one round a "wild card" round and for that pick you get to pick for the team after you. Or maybe any round after say 5, you get to make a pick for the team after you. Adds a little strategy and sabotage LOL.Comment

When is this going down? Seems like it'll be fun. I didn't do it last year so I need some concrete rules.Isaiah 5:20Comment

I'm in.
Spiritof96, we do have a poll feature, but it has to be included in the OP. We can either start a new thread for the draft, include a poll in the first post, then not touch it until it's time to vote, or we can just start a new "voting" thread after the fact and include the poll there.Comment

Just quoted this to give you a notification. For others, Downes doesn't like the rule if you miss a pick. I believe how we did it last year was if you missed your pick in round 3 you got two selections in round 4. If we move your missed pick to the end it will be catastrophic and you'll virtually have no chance of winning. I'm afraid if that happened to someone they might just quit all together and then everyone else loses out on their already selected players. What other options do we have in mind if someone misses their pick? Maybe have them make it up two rounds later?
Also, giving that person two back-to-back picks is a gift. In later rounds there'd be legitimate strategical reasoning behind missing your pick so you'd get back-to-back picks a little later.Last edited by George; 05-21-2017, 03:47 PM.Comment

If you miss your pick, you notify the group when you're back online, then you get your regular pick the following round, plus an additional pick at the end of that round. And really, that's being too generous. You miss a pick, you miss a pick. But, I can't think of a better fix, so...

Me and Downes have been talking. How do you guys feel about the trades? I mentioned each team must have seven players and he brought up trades like two for one. What is a way we could punish a team for having less than seven players? Or, do you want to do eight rounds, you have to have seven players, and if you have eight you get a reward? Or more than eight? Maybe if you have less players you start out with a few less votes on the poll?
Another thing he brought up, should we vote on the trades people agree to?Comment

I had King Rex, possibly the greatest player out of the state of Kentucky ever, Eric Bledsoe a athletic freak, Devin Booker a kid who's scoring 70 points in the grown mans' NBA league. Not only that, i was athletic at every position and could shoot the 3 from any position and run run run then run some more.......Comment
