With the SEC basically assigning the group of 6 spots (after Sugar, Citrus or Orange) and UK having little to show of traditional success or history, there's little doubt who will be sucking hind tit when bids are allocated. Of all SEC schools only Vandy would fall below us in those categories. I know that's not what anyone wants to hear, including myself, but that's just how it is.

And because of the Birmingham Bowl's tie-n with the American conference, Houston is a likely opponent.

I cannot believe we would fall below South Carolina. We travel well and have beaten them three years in a row.

If UK is 6-6 most likely destination is the Birmingham or Independence Bowl. Birmingham Bowl has first rights above the Independence so I expect UK to go there. I saw all kinds of different opponents mentioned for that one. One was Houston but I find it hard to believe they will fall to that poor of a bowl. It doesn't matter anyway. For this year UK has done what they set out to do, Anything else this point on is just gravy.

The Match Game Bowl hosted by Gene Rayburn. With Richard Dawson, Brett Summers, Charles Nelson Riley and all the other dead celebrities we used to know. It will be played in Transylvania.
