Stoops is going to continue to cash checks and make sure UK has to buy him out. UK should have told him goodbye when he was taking the AM job. But no AM saw what was coming their way.

He should be gone this week coming or right after the UGA blowout loss we are about to receive. I think we have a bye again after that. Let White finish the year at HC. Then make full scale changes in November or December. Just do not take a side step with the coaching hire. You already let everyone know you will pay top dollar. So pay up and get a coach. Then give him 2 years to get guys here to play his style.

In my opinion, yesterday's game move it from "if" to "when" do we fire Stoops. However, the when question is complicated by the buy-out terms. I've seem two distinct reading of the contract and they differ significantly. Either way, firing him prior to the end of the season is a lot more expensive than waiting.

I think there's no question that they wait until the end of the season.

There's always going to be multiple coaching positions open at the end of each season. We can't allow fear of competition to prevent us from getting rid of Stoops. I mean it isn't like whoever we hire could be any worse than what we have.
