We settle time and time again.

Stoops does not deserve to be rewarded for this with a buyout.

I do not understand the buy out clause. How did this thing even come about? It's criminal.

Make Stoops stay and put zero dollars into the program until he departs on his own.

Put all of the NIL money into an account and save it for the next coach. Pay whomever we have to pay in so far as athletes and coaches go the bare minimum required. Pay no big dollars to anyone.

I've heard that they paid SEVEN FIGURES to Calzada. What morons decided that was a good investment? The person who made that decision should be reprimanded publicly or, if possible, fired. As long as there isn't a buy out clause for it.

I don't want this joker getting millions of dollars for absolutely nothing.

Mitch should be fired over these two fixes that he's put Kentucky in with Calipari and Stoops.

        It was all predictable.

        Don't give Stoops anything.

Fans should freakin' protest outside of the Stadium each game.

Put signs in his yard stating simply "YOU SUCK!" or "NO ONE WANTS YOU HERE" and "GREED LIVES HERE!"

If he's seen downtown, he should be roundly booed.

Every game should have signs telling Stoops to leave.

        HUNDREDS of THEM!

Do not put Brad White in charge of jack.

His defense is horrible. Whatever he might have been good at, he ain't no more or he can't get the players or coach them up.

This whole staff has lost whatever, if anything, that they may have had at one time.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Stoops profited from a down SEC. Once those teams got back to decent or better, Stoops could no longer beat them.

So your solution to Mitch's terrible contracting and Stoops' terrible performance is to make the fans suffer while the program sinks lower..... oh and give Stoops all of the money he is owed? Mitch is that you?

Even on an interim basis, I can't believe AR stooped so low as to put Petrino back in charge. The guy didn't like recruiting before NIL and transfer portal (and, allegedly, is a miserable human being) - how's he gonna fare in this day and age?

Personally, I think the best case for UK is they negotiate a payout over several years and let Stoops 'retire' after this cluster of a season (again). If he won't go silently into the night, I think the UKAA has to just bite the bullet and pay him out and be done with him. He's not going to right the ship, imo, and both players and staff will start deserting the sinking ship in droves. We'll be looking at 2-4 wins, max, for the next few years until the buyout is gone. That's just unacceptable.

With is business ties to the area, it would behoove Stoops to negotiate a buy out.

How much did deboer’s seat cool off by beating Georgia? I used to live in Alabama and their fans are crazy. I say his seat is still hot.

Fans deserve to suffer and Mitch signed that contract.

Hell...I think Kentucky Football fans actually like the losing. It makes us happier.

You know I had a dream last night. I was old, am old now but talking about older than I thought I would live. UK still in SEC, still in the bottom 6 teams of the league. Our best season was when I was 72 (about 12 years from now) and we won 12 games and lost first game in playoff (24 team playoff). SEC had many more teams. After that 12 win year we had 8 seasons of non winning seasons, that puts me at 80 (2045). We were going through the same stuff as we are now. Wash, rinse and repeat. Every 6 to 10 years we had a decent and close to decent year, followed by horrible football. Still talking about would it be better to go to a lesser league. Everyone saying now because of basketball. My take, does not matter who we get. We will never be great, just a few years of good every now and again. If that is true we will have about 4 to 5 decent years over the next 20 years. Woke up in a bad mood. Could not shake it all day. Watched Sox beat the Yanks did not help. Reds getting crushed. Detroit won (that was good). And the wheels on the bus....

                        66. first game 1977 homecoming. Not certain how much longer I'll even care. May just follow Morehead or Cumberland U in the future. 3-9 and another Stoops year in 2026 should do it.
I couldn't look any Ky high school FB player in the eye and ask him to consider UK.

Well it would just be in the interim, and after what he did with Bowden, Jr. I think he's probably the most qualified on the staff to take over temporarily.

Beating UGA probably cooled it a bit, but they still have some big games ahead. hell freaking Vandy is looking pretty damn tough at this point.

Watching Vandy againsst Bama, there should be no reason given the talent discrepencies between the two schools, that we can't be competitive. Games like this one just hammers home the point that we need a new direction.
