    Hot seat growing rapidly

Wow, two coaches already axed. (rightly so)
    Dabo
    Fickel
    Gundy
    Napier
    Even heard Beamer

With all the cash flying around and modern fans have made it miserable to coach high level football. Fans like South Carolina are demanding a championship now. News flash, South Carolina will never win a national championship. Stoops is not even on the radar now.

Hard to believe how quickly Dabo's star has fallen. From playing for championships and winning a couple to getting b*tch slapped on your home field by 2 TDs by Syracuse, hardly a blueblood. Avoiding the transfer portal and NIL for a long time was a bad move. Would another program snatch him up quickly or would he go to the booth and get away from coaching?

SC fans are the worst. Delusional doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of their insanity.

There will be plenty of heads rolling before this season concludes.

      Yabba Dabo Doo Doo.
Going forward, Christian Laettner volunteers to catch any dildos flung on a basketball court - or anywhere else.

I'd add Hugh Freeze to the list. Last I heard they had six false start and two holding call against the OL. There was a stretch of four to five minutes at the start of Q2 that was a penalty on almost ever play.

Auburn did not look like they were very well-coached today. Pulled a 'Stoops/White', also, leaving a WR uncovered for an easy pitch-and-catch TD for the Sooners.

Might need to add Belichick to that list. UNC most likely won't fire him, but he may decide to 'retire'. They looked awful against a middling UCF team - never really in the game. If the Heels only win 3 or 4 games, I can't see Belichick coming back. Whether it's his choice or not is debatable.

Goodbye Billy, you’re gone. Tulane coach didn’t look so well either.

You mean the latest savior of UK football, John Sumrall?

I think JS would be an upgrade of our coach and staff, but don't believe anyone could make UK a consistent powerhouse. Think our consistent ceiling is 8-9 wins.

Looks like the officials blew the call on that play.

The TV crew all concluded the officials were wrong at the time.

^True. But, the scoreboard still says it's a gift TD. Bad call, for sure. But, you can't leave a guy uncovered, either.

Someone mentioned Tennessee’s OC as a head coach. Former player I met.

Another program will snatch him up pretty quickly, His overall record would be too much for a lot of teams to pass up, though he's dangerously close to having a season like Florida State had last year. Norvell survived and seemingly has FSU back on track.

Avoiding the Portal had to hurt Clemson, mainly because you can only avoid it for so long, because he can't have much control over the players he has on the roster using it to leave. He's got to replace them with somebody.

Either Sweeny winds up on his feet somewhere like OK St. or Wisconsin, or even Florida for that matter, I think his record and two National Championships will get him a solid job somewhere. There could be quite a few P4 jobs open before all is said and done. Many more than last year. If not Sweeny will land on TV somewhere.

                            Clemson
                            Florida
                            Va Tech
                            UCLA
                            Wisconsin
                            Kentucky
                            Arkansas
                            Auburn
South Carolina (Think Beamer would be at top of Va Tech's list)

Jobs that could come open due to coaches moving
                            Ole Miss
                            Syracuse

Competition for good coaches is going to be tough if we're in the market next year, which is why I think Sumrall will be our choice if we get on him early enough. I think like Mark Pope he'd crawl here to coach over any of those others.

The assumption is that Shane Beamer would jump at the chance to coach at Va Tech. That seems like a risk, imo. Unless he's a homerun hire, which I doubt, he's always going to be compared to his dad and, most likely, fall short. The ACC will be easier to win than the SEC so that's a plus and Tech has a good tradition and he should be able to recruit pretty well there. Do they have the NIL money, though? I don't know. It will be interesting if he's offered to see what he does.
