Officials are humans. They make mistakes. Sometimes obvious ones and sometimes they are tougher. It's never crossed my mind that an official was intentionally calling a game in a way to favor one team over the other. Haynes held. They called it. Did they not call similar plays earlier in the game? Sure. Did they call lesser holds earlier in the game? Yup. All of you saying "You don't make that call in that situation" should stop and ask one question. If we are on the road at Florida in the exact opposite scenario, are you ok if he doesn't call it and Florida wins on a field goal? Or would it be home cookin' if they let it go? Officials have a job to do. Do they miss stuff? Yup. That's part of the game. Unless you want to review every play it'll never be perfect. Sometimes it works out in our favor. Sparks totally travelled before he got fouled at UofL but it wasn't called. Where's your outcry on that one? I didn't hear one of you saying the officials sucked then.Comment

Our defense didn't break in the 4th Quarter, they quit calling holding on UF. Our offense didn't break in the 4th Quarter, they started calling touch penalties. The refs in the SEC are corrupt and create a twilight zone effect where you have no idea what THEY are watching despite what you are seeing. I know that offends people. But it's simply not the case that 31 happens without cheating. At some point the law of large numbers is supposed to kick in. Sample sizes of about 32-33 give very low confidence intervals from memory so we better be rolling off two in a row or it's proven by stats they are cheaters.
I realize that's not how the law of large numbers works, but it works for a proof of cheating.Comment

There is such a thing as a pancake block, or is that against the rules now? Can a defensive player just get smashed and it get called a hold? No. It's not "take the defense down" simple.Comment
