A worthy bump at that. Got a sixer of Schlafly Pumpkin Ale today. Not only the best pumpkin beer out there, but just a fantastic beer overall. Can't go wrong with Schlafly. Or Bells. Or Southern Tier. Or Dogfish Head.

Try a Left Hand Milk Stout. Drinking one right now. It's fantastic.

I have had the Nitro version. I didn't like it. I would try the regular for sure as stouts are my favorite style. There's just something about nitro beers. They taste flat to me. Any nitro beer I have had is just terrible, in my opinion.
If stouts are your thing, pick up some Bells Expedition Stout. Pricey at around $18 for six, but it's 10.5 and has unlimited cellar life. Had a 2 year old version a month ago. Best stout I ever had.

If you live in the J*Town area, the 3rd Turn Brewery near the square has about 20 beers on tap. Always changing. 4 or 5 of their own. Also for the non beer drinkers, slushies, wine, bourbons, soft drinks and a few bottled beers.

Have you guys had "Cougar Bait" from Country Boys Brewing in Lexington ? It's a blonde ale and I find it quite refreshing.

I haven't. My local place is really good about ordering requests, though, so I'll check into getting some.

Ever had a Wexford Irish Cream Ale?

I've had it. It's not too bad.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

My favorite Cincinnati beer has become Braxton Brewing's Nitro cream ale. It's refreshing and very, very smooth.

If you wanted to know what beer tasted like without carbonation, try it. I hate the style. I like carbonation. Reminds me of a flat soda.

If you've had a stout like Guinness, it's akin to that. I've had a Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro that was very tasty.

Boddingtons Pub Ale is also a "Nitro" beer.

Oh, OK. I've had both Guinness and Boddington's. It has been a few years though. I think it is one reason why I do not like Newcastle Brown ale.
