The big boys are exposed for the subpar imitations that they are. The average beer drinking Joe won't know the difference, but the rest of us will.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

New Arrogant Bastard. Might be gimmicky, might be great, but I'm definitely going to try it.

^ Had an ole original a few nights ago...delicious. They used to have the Oaked AB which was ok, but I've always preferred the original. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled when I'm at LB again. It seems like they make a ton of different beers now.

Also, I'll throw in here on the new WCN that an AB sticker placed strategically on the stock of my .308 Remmy made it shoot better.

Sipping a Southern Tier 2X Stout. Pretty good. Gonna have to run up to the local Valumarket and grab some Founders Breakfast Stout next and compare. From what I hear, there is no comparison.

This is probably too main stream for this thread; but I love Boddingtons. I have only had it on draft so... can't speak for the can or Bottles. It was recently purchased by Anheiser-Busch.

Boddington's is excellent. Boddington pint cans are great because they have this widget inside (similar to Guinness) that's nitrogen filled and produces the head on the beer when opened.

Boddington's is great with a good fried cod fish sandwich and fries. My favorite is at **************** and Bull English Pub and Tap house in Covington. Fried Cod on pumpernickel rye paired with a pint of Boddington's.

Thanks for the info on the cans! I have avoided purchasing it due to uncertainty about the affect on the taste.

Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. Quite possibly the best beer I ever had, no matter the style. A sippiing brew in every sense of the word as it is a 9% brew. Fantastic! Surveyor, they have it at the Valumarket in town. If you're a Stout fan you will love it. I'm starting to move away a tad from other styles and focusing on Stouts. This is the best I've tasted so far.

Did you ever get to try it? I'll look for it next time I'm in Lexington. As a side note, a new store just opened in Prestonsburg and they have Stone Products!!!! No longer will I have to drive to Lexington and back for some tasty brews. They had an unopened box of AB sitting there and you could just see the aura of arrogance being emitted.

^ An Arrogant Baste@# wouldn't hold his pinky outward. He'd be wearing a UK Basketball shirt and "go plinking" with an M1A, ha!
