He began his NFL career with the Houston Oilers, in the mid 70's, primarily as a kick return specialist. I believe he spent about 14 years in the league ending his career with the Falcons in the late 80's. Once his game, and his white shoes, made it to the big stage, I remember a lot of h.s. and college kids began wearing white shoes.

Well you said everything right except his name. His name was Billy Johnson. He basically brought the end zone dance into the NFL.
