Does that mean he has four rings, or two?

2 rings. One each from 2 different professional sports.

If I'm not mistaken, Gene Conley was on World Championship teams in baseball and basketball, but he isn't from Louisville. If this isn't the correct answer, I believe you've stumped our panel of experts, Lighthouse.

Lloyd "Pinkie" Gardner, is the one. Pinkie was the Trainer and Travel guy for the Kentucky Colonels, and the Kentucky Bourbons. Both teams were National Champions while he was there. He now is Chairman of the King of the Bluegrass HS basketball tournament, and does commentary for UL football. Note, this question would stump most local sports enthusiasts.

Deacon Jones, played with the Steelers. I only knew him as Deacon, have no idea his first name.

Correct Lighthouse. Although David "Deacon" Jones played for the Los Angeles Rams, the Chargers and the Redskins, he will always be remembered as part of the LA Rams' "Fearsome Foursome", one of the best def. lines in all of pro fb. "Deacon" along with Merlin Olsen, Lamar Lundy and Rosey Grier comprised the Fearsome Foursome.
