That song is the reason I love the Mountain Soul CD. I’m about the first generation on my dad’s side of the family that wasn’t born and grew up in Eastern Kentucky. Nevertheless, when I go back, it feels like home. I love the “that’s the place where I trace my bloodline†lyric, and every bit of the rest. Such a soulful song. I’ve spent a lot of time visiting those mountain cemeteries.Comment
