I don’t know that I love this song as much as I once did, but Senior Bonfire 1973, it was something. Here’s to more decades of music.
Happy new year, WCN.

Much like the Beatles, I prefer the Stones earlier recordings to their later ones.I don’t know that I love this song as much as I once did, but Senior Bonfire 1973, it was something. Here’s to more decades of music.

Unfortunately, this and "Miss You" are among my least favorite Stones songs. Perhaps because I knew an "Angie" Angela in elementary school who was ........ displeasing to be around. Miss You, because it was the Stones' experiment with disco.Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

Angie was memorable to me because of the circumstances. Takes me back to that when I hear it.👍 1Comment
