              A song my cousin wrote with a rock on the floor of his cell. About the death of his mother, and the hope he’d be free in time to visit her before she passed. His colleague, Ralph Stanley, recorded it and turned it into a Bluegrass gospel Classic. Brenton didn’t get out in time for that last visit.

                              capcat, sounds like he was quite the song writer!

                              At some point I've meant to go down to the western aspect of Virginia some just to explore some, and of course that area is rich in bluegrass tradition. The effects of Hurricane Helene may delay that though.
