Have you seen something to suggest that that's a possibility? I'm no expert, but I've seen/heard NOTHING. Didn't even know who the kid was until earlier today. Usually if Cal's on a kid in any way, we'd have heard something. You are on the west coast, though, so fill us in if you've got some info.

Agreed. And scholarships may come into play also. 5 signed for next year already and way too early to know who will leave from this years team.

I didn't think he sounded all that bad. Seemed pretty level-headed. Said he hates Cal, but he's entitled to that and shouldn't have to defend himself. I'm glad Matt Jones didn't ask, "Why do you hate Cal?" Irrelevant.

I'm not sure hating Cal is irrelevant. It's certainly relevant if you're giving an opinion that's at least tangentially about Cal.

Of course his viewpoint on this particular issue is biased, but when you say that you "hate" an opposing coach, nothing about the subject you say should be of any consequence at all. It's like people who talk politics: Well, I hate the president, but listen to my fifteen-minute rant about what we should do in the Middle East...

Doesn't work like that if you're actually trying to have a debate.

Lachlan McClain, who I generally liked, got into this a lot. He would preface everything he said with the fact that he didn't like Calipari. Clearly this was good for his business: it got UK fans incensed, it got people to call. But it also made everything he said about Cal pretty suspect and made him hard to listen to when it came to UK.
