Is Cal wanting to go to a smaller team? Is Bam too good to pass? Is there not a C in this class that would make an impact? Curious as to why we are going after Bam and Maker when we have two commits already with Humphries on the roster.

Humphries plays center. Has no effect on these other guys.

But these are guys you have to take. Position is the most overrated concept in the game. Get the dudes, put them out there, let their talent drag you. It isn't 1985 where everybody has to fit into a slot. These guys are so skilled these days that they can move around to multiple positions.

In a round about way I was asking which of these guys can play positions other than the four. I know Humphries plays the five, but it wouldn't shock me to see him and Skal together this year. It isn't so much as where they play on offense for me but about them being able to guard another team who might be playing a three guard lineup or have a legit wing player. When I see PF, I see bigger and low post, not someone who could step out and guard a guy who plays on the wing. But, like you said, get the talent and figure it out from there. I am sure I am just over thinking things.

Sounds good. Of course Cal can't talk about him unless he signs the LOI at that moment.

Wenyen Gabriel will be a 3/4 hybrid. Plays on the wing in the AAU circuit. No idea about Bam but he's too hellacious of a talent to pass up.

This would be one of Cal's biggest recruiting coups if he can pull it off.

Give Cal and the staff credit. They looked at what happened last summer and they vowed that that will absolutely not happen again, so they went out and did something about it.

Need Monk now and we can probably button 2016 up.
