Could be trying to work out the TV details and the delay/indecision has to do with that.

Well the Canadian scout who broke the story either got bad info or the Murray people didn't like the fact that their announcement got leaked.

That guy's Twitter account looks like it's on the up-and-up. No wild claims that I can find, and it doesn't look like some fan's feed who's trying to tweet as if he's not really a fan. I tend to think he had solid info.

Could also possibly be that Cal and the staff got to Murray and worked on him to change his mind. But I kind of doubt that's the case.

If he does end up at Oregon, so much is going to have to go right for Kentucky to be a top ten team. Everything is basically going to have to fall into place. No injuries, guys coming back way better than advertised (a healthy Poythress, Lee), new guys coming in as good as they're cracked up to be, and a couple of surprises (Mulder, Matthews) being able to play on day one.

Not a great situation to be in, but it's the dice you roll when you push the NBA like Cal does.

We also just lost out on a promising 5 Star 2016 recruit in shooting guard Josh Langford. It came down to us and Michigan St.

It would be nice to have a full tilt Poythress ready to go in November, but he doesn't really become critical, in my estimation, until conference play. And then, there's Willis and Hawkins. Are they potential Epps and Pelfrey types or frauds? Some around here are likely to owe J Jennings an apology.....Or two. By now even I have become comfortable with starting freshmen. We have two of the best and two with potential. Truthfully, I hope we never have the kind of depth we had this year. Few players got the minutes they deserved and that will hurt them in the draft, and I believe, is the root cause of Cals recruiting woes this year. Plus, I believe the lack flow and continuity cost us a championship, but that's a whole other topic.

I get the concerns, just not all the hand wringing.
I think we'll have a good team, just not a great team, and for most in the BBN that's just not acceptable. Missing out on Murray is a shame. It appears that he really could of given us that extra scorer we needed. We're also going to be pretty thin on the front line. Especially if Alex isn't ready until December. If Waynard comes aboard in December that will help, but how much, who knows.

Was away this weekend. Disappointed to hear about these leaks/rumors/whatevers.

As others have said, this announcement is so 2015.

Cal got way behind on Murray. Oregon was in there from the beginning and when the other "surefires" like Zimmerman and Newman went elsewhere, he had to fight to make up. The "We loved you from the beginning" card is hard to trump.

Now Adam Zagoria reports from a source that report Murray is announcing Tuesday was false and "exact date "remains unclear" LOL....

So who knows when we'll hear he is (almost inevitably it seems) going to Oregon....

This is so class of 2015...........

I think the way the depth was used was the issue as I don't believe in having to much depth. That being said, we didn't win it all so what do I know??

Our starting five will do fine. What concerns me is our bench.

I expected it..There was already 4 or 5 Canadians on the team as is, so the whole Canada thing will end up being the overriding factor in his decision.
