Wow! I was so depressed I really wasn't even checking my phone right at 5:00, but when I got the alert my hopes for next season went up. All I know is that I should just stop listening to analysts since like 20 "experts" on 247 sports had him picking Oregon.

This is just awesome, and not unexpected by me. I have no idea why, but I thought he would be a Cat. Welcome Mr Murray!!

Skal will benefit the most from adding Murray. Now it will be even harder to double or triple team the big guy. Pretty much you will have to play straight up or zone UK next year. Zoning would not be too wise either. Match up zone might cause issues for a few minutes but they will adapt quickly, i think.

This feels good to me because I just assumed like so many lately he was not ours.

Yeah, it should look very similar to Cal's last teams at Memphis. Three guards who can all handle the ball and shoot it. Two of whom can swing around to all three perimeter positions. Pretty similar to Cal's first team at UK.

Also, what Murray does is make it so that some of these guys--notably Willis, Hawkins, and Mulder--won't have to do more than they're able to do. They can come along slowly and fit into roles. Without Murray those three would've had to play a lot, and I'm not sure how that was going to work.

Shocking! But a good shocking. Cal knew what he was doing by being at Yankee Stadium today. He had him in the bag.

Jamal realized (to his credit, unlike the others who decided not to come) that if he came to Kentucky he would have the chance to win a national title while getting groomed to play in the NBA next year.

    Apparently that wasn't a coincidence.
From everything I had gathered I was convinced the whole Canada factor would prevail and he would end up at Oregon because of the other 4 or 5 canadians they had on the team already, and because of that assistant coach of theirs.
