    He's 2016 though, isn't he?

Not sure if there's a possible reclassification with him or not. (GREAT name, though.)

This is a case when a player should think about dropping the hyphenated name, as opposed to the popular decision to add an extra name. How many guys have the legit opportunity to put "Kill ya" on the back of their jerseys?

He's a 2016 guy, but like you I'm not sure about the possibility of reclassification either.

          Short update on Murray.

Nothing much there, but Biancardi does suggest that Murray is finishing up his academic stuff to play in 2015. Most people I read say that that's the case and have been saying that since he opted not to play AAU ball this summer.

Yeah, been reading similar. I almost think if he was going commit to Oregon he would of already done so considering there's other fellow canadians on the team, as well as having a connection with the one assistant coach. With the way things have gone with this recruiting class though, that means he's going to sign with Oregon lol.

He received an offer from UK, and also UNC this weekend. No one has ever mentioned him reclassifying.

SO, what is required for a recruit to reclassify? Is there some kind of classification board one must apply to? Or it like redshirting, IE you just inform the NCAA they player did not play and thus has not used that year of eligibility?

I'm by no means an expert, but I think a lot of it has to do with them doing accelerated classwork and getting all the "credits" they need in High School to be able to register in college. But I'm sure there is a lot more to it than that. And then I think the good ol crooked NCAA has to look it all over and say yes or no.

When it comes to overseas kids I have no idea how that works, it seems like a mess to me, and to this day I am still pissed about the Kanter situation.

We all feel your pain on that issue.
