I'm nearly drooling as I read this lol...

"His mentality towards training, development, distractions, success is what I appreciated about him from early in his high school days.
I rebounded for him as he got off more than 200 three balls. He shot 83%. Everything was razor sharp; from his release point, follow through, his base and eye contact with the rim.
Murray makes improvements every time we see him. He’s really taking care of his body and is feeling and looking lean and ready for whatever comes next.
His next visits have not been announced as everything remains tight. He could very well end up reclassifying to 2015…
    And it could be Kentucky."

With Swanigan gone, and Maker highly doubtful, it's Murray or bust.

Any word on how the visit went with Murray? Seems most are saying he's most likely staying in the 2016 class no matter where he decides to go. Don't get me wrong I'll be happy to take him next year, but would sure love to have him now!

Sure is quiet in the aftermath of Murray's visit. Makes me think he's about to announce his decision.

Wishful thinking, but I hope you are right.

This is just my opinion, but I don't believe Murray is going to reclassify.

If he doesn't reclassify and goes the Exum/Mudiay path, then he'd really have to shine in the workouts for pro teams next summer because he'll be a complete non-entity this season. Whatever he does or doesn't do in Canada will be totally dismissed. Even Mudiay, who had a solid year in China, has seen his stock slip a little bit. And he played against pros.

If the Murrays want the NBA then not reclassifying doesn't make a whole lot of sense. If they want to wait, finish high school there, and then have him play a year in college somewhere, then not reclassifying would make more sense. But then he'd be a 20-year-old rookie assuming he jumps pro after one year, which is already a strike against you.

You'd have to know what their goals are and if they're chasing the NBA. Some of these kids aren't aggressively pursuing professional basketball, and/or think they can get there through other routes. But if he wants there quickly then the choice is pretty obvious.

In the Hoop Summit game he looked like a guy who could play in the NBA at 19.

Wow, Matt Jones on KSR just said that he was told Murray IS STILL at UK as of this morning.

That HAS to be good news.

I don't see how it could be bad....

Is there a limit of time a kid can be on an "official" visit? I know he could hang out in Lexington as long as he wants on his own but wasn't sure the limitations on an official visit?

Hopefully that's a sign that he's working out the details of his reclassification with UK compliance.

That's the narrative I'm going with, anyway.

Could be his flight was just delayed too?

Well, let's hope he signs up.. Doesn't help our lack of depth upfront, but then again I've always been a big believer that having a real good backcourt is the key to being successful in college basketball.
