The kid visited something like six or seven times. You can't make me believe that there wasn't some kind of communication breakdown between Cal and Kennard. Some sort of slight. Something.

Maybe. Or he might've just been beaten by Duke.

When you look around at these schools you notice that they recruit types. Roy Williams and big men, Self and high-low skilled bigs, Duke and three-point specialists, Cal and rim protectors. Cal hasn't had much success with players like Kennard outside of Doron Lamb. Coach K has thrived with tons of guys like that. Makes a lot of sense.

If Kennard would have ended up anywhere else, it might have been a mystery. But it's Duke. Hard to fault anybody involved when you lose recruiting battles to them.

It still blows my mind that we didn't lock down Luke Kennard. I normally try to refrain from this, but I blame Cal fully on that one. Kennard all but begged to go to Kentucky. Cal could've had that one if he'd acted accordingly.

I will keep my opinion to myself. Even if he would have committed to Kentucky, would he have ever got the chance to play? May have been lucky to see him at the end of blowouts or maybe a few cameo appearances during his senior year. Trust me, Kennard made the right move...........

And why do you think that would that be. Wouldn't be because he's white would it? We all know Cal doesn't like white boys.

It's beginning to be humorous how people just cant fathom how a player would choose a Duke, or a Kansas, etc. over UK. Of course in our eyes we just don't see why a kid would want to go anywhere else, but those schools are just as popular and have has such a good run the last decade or two that these young kids grow up dreaming of going to schools like this.

I'm not sure why the whole Cleveland thing would scare many kids off, they are just going to stop signing LOI's so if this kind of thing happens they can leave much easier.

A lot of pro-UK stuff out there today in regards to Brown. I am cautiously optimistic but will need to hear it directly from him to believe it.
