On Rivals they're talking about Cal possibly going after a graduate transfer. It's a name I heard a month or so ago as a possibility (but not sure if things have changed after Eastern hired a new coach): Eastern Kentucky forward Nick Mayo.

He averaged 18 a game and shot 45% () from three last year.

Kyle Tucker mentioned earlier that a GT might be possible, maybe even likely. Didn’t give a name, though.

But he's currently testing the NBA waters (I've read Mayo may as well).

Like Montgomery, I'm unfamiliar with Hagans' game. But I did see where Jerry Meyer said last week that he would rank Hagans ahead of Duke's Tre Jones, who's a top 10 player.

If that's an accurate ranking, then Kentucky has three guys who are top 10ish in this class, with another contributor in Herro. That's a pretty crazy class.

HAVE to have at least a solid trio of returners though to help this youth adjust.

Per Evan Daniels, Hagans is attempting to reclassify to 2018 but that it isn't 100% yet. Think he has to pass the coursework first.

You know what, to hell with it, excuse my language. I don't like losing players every year and seeing guys transfer but the addition of Hagan and Montgomery gets me excited, JAMES WISEMAN come on down.....

If Hagans reclassifies does that mean Cal will have the top PG for 2018 class? Not sure how good he is or his ranking, but would like to see a flat out baller coming in. Green needs to stay and his game would improve by going up against him in practice.

Really doesn't hurt my feelings if he does. Unless you are Tyler Ulis or a freak athlete, really not sold on 6 foot point guards these days...

UK really needs a top 50 PG that stays 2 to 4 years for stability to compliment the one and done PGs Despite how great the young guns are, there are games where they freeze up and the upper classmen can step in, provide scoring, and take the pressure off the wide eyed young bloods when they have those games.

I wasn’t high on Quade this season, and we’d miss SKJ more than Green next season if the latter moves on. Having said that, I still don’t like the transfers, and if there’s even a remote chance that as a junior or senior he can resemble the player Will has envisioned, I’d hate to lose him.

Hope he sticks it out.
