If Hagans is as good as advertised then Quade is going to have to fight for PT next year, though (assuming Hagans chooses Kentucky, and with 300 schools recruiting him he won't be easy to land). Won't be easy to get on the court. Knox leaving will open up a lot of things if that happens, but I'm not sure Keldon Johnson is a guy we'll take off the court a whole lot. And you hope Herro is at the very least a guy who can be instant offense.

Quade needs to be on the Gerald Fitch route, which is who he reminds me of. Hope he doesn't transfer.
Quade is also a better outside shooter than Hawkins.

Nassir Little going to be a good player at UNC....I like his motor and finishing skills around the basket. And he's not scared! Wish we had him.

Hagans I have mix feelings about not great, not bad but I said that about Shai and he really surprised me (I didn't see this dedication to try to get better when he was in HS)-Lol

T.J. Walker says that he feels like UK is in the lead for E.J. Montgomery, perhaps because Duke is on the hunt for a grad transfer.

I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't cause some of the holdovers (SKJ, Vanderbilt, Washington, Gabriel or Richards) to leave.

Probably. And I would say Wenyen is the most likely from what I've heard. Sacha would be my 2nd guess.

Think if we can keep Wenyen, PJ, and Vanderbilt, and add Hagans, then Kentucky is probably a legit top five team going into next year.

Lose just one of those guys then you have to worry about youth (again). Think both PJ and Vanderbilt have the potential to be breakout players. Kentucky could run into a situation if a couple of guys make stupid decisions where it just doesn't have a stud. You have to have players who can take the game over at this level.

Neither PJ or Vanderbilt is going to make a ripple on draft night. Not even close. Have to worry about Wenyen looking to make money somewhere in the world.

Montgomery is not a good replacement for Gabriel. We need outside shooting from the wing and he's our only option. And I would still rather have a Soph JV and Washington.

But if we are going to lose another, then this is as good a pickup as Cal could hope for.

Gabriel isn’t our only option. Green, Baker, and Herro are all good shooters.

I still want Gabriel to return, but he isn’t our only option from outside.

MJ has said repeatedly that he sees Wenyen as a decent chance to.leave because of family situation, age, etc..like Will said. I take everything MJ says with a grain of salt however....

I think as long as we only lose one or zero of the Wenyen, Vanderbilt, PJ trio, we'll be in good shape.

This is a stacked team for sure....

Yes, they should be good shooters. But all are guards. I think we need a solid offensive option from the 3, 4 or 5 that can take players away from the basket. Gabriel was that option late when his shooting improved.

Going to be interesting to see who leaves.

Watching videos of Montgomery gets me really excited about him. He is the 6th rated player guys.

Very skilled with the ball, good hands, good passer, touch around the basket, shot blocker, can handle it, AND shoots it with range.....also a lefty, but can finish with both hands.
