They say he's a 80% lean towards Kentucky, whatever that means...

^^^ Don't get me hyped up more than I need to be...I've been following this kid for three years, seen him play in person several times. You all will be pleasantly surprised if we land him...he is the next A Davis at the college level with a little K Townes in him. If Az lands him then I won't be surprised (AZ is home, he's in CA playing HS ball) but I will be pissed if he goes anywhere else not choosing us. Coach Cal has to put on his best sales man suit this summer at USA basketball (I don't think theyve had try-outs yet but I bet he makes the team!)...win him over!

Really hoping this can help us with Bagley. Ive always had my doubts about pulling him away from the west coast, but having Zona land a top 50 player at his position can do nothing but help.

He's truly a man among boys. Same with Zion. And Bol Bol has jumped all the way to the number 2 overall spot. His jumpshot is beyond funky looking but hes shooting almost 50% from deep lately.

I think we'll have a lot of carry-over from this years team and sign 3-5 super stars from next years class. Cal's not handing out nearly as many offers because I think hes expecting a lot back from our current group.

Could ya'll imagine if we kept one of Quade/Shai, Baker, two from the wing/forward group of Gabriel/Vanderbilt/Knox/Washington, SKJ, Richards, and added Bagley, Quickley, Langford, Z. Williamson and Bol Bol?

That team would have a better shot at running the table than our 2014-15 Cats.

To me the most important recruit of the bunch is Langford, and he may be the least likely to commit. We'll be super deep and talented at every other position, but getting him is a necessity. I do think if Baker stays, he'll be an amazing player for us by his junior year. Its hard not to look forward to the 2018-19 season....even though we'll be good this year Im fully expecting us to lose 7-9 games because of our youth and because the SEC will be much improved. But the next year....college basketball should be trembling.

Is Romeo Langford ranking going to stay up with his back problems? If we get him, do we sign a backup plan in case he can't go?

I think they want Reddish as much as anybody, and you have to think the U19 play helped us with him.

Quickley seems like a virtual lock at this point.

The most interesting thing that might happen with 2018 is if Barrett reclassifies. Changes the whole dynamic of the class.

Reddish, Bagley, and Quickley are all top priorities. In Cal I trust, as we could land all 3 though 1 seems like a lock. Cal has been taking A LOT of unnecessary crap for the Bronze. Lachlan McClain you are a weak minded individual who is in a weak time slot and brings the weak sauce. Go back to hyping up your weak Virginia program. Are they good in any sport?

Here's a 2018 primer including quotes from Evan Daniels. Says that he's hearing Langford and Kentucky may be slipping further away.

If these analysts predictions are correct, then we win the title in 2019.

                    https://kentucky.rivals.com/news/pre...ruiting-period

I'll say we definitely lose Knox, Washington & Diallo. I'll predict Richards leaves as well. So, we return Green, Vanderbilt, SKJ, Gabriel, Alexander, Baker

Going by their predictions we would get Bagley, Williamson, Moses Brown, Quickley, Louis King. I would add Bol Bol to that group.

Say we get 5 of those (likely, Bagley, Williamson, Quickley, Bol, and Brown or King.......

                    I'd predict a roster of

                    Green
                    Quickley
                    Vanderbilt
                    SKJ
                    Gabriel
                    Bagley
                    Williamson
                    Alexander
                    Bol
                    King
                    Baker
                    Wynyard
                    Calipari
                    David
                    Pulliam

                    A starting lineup of

                    Green
                    Quickley
                    Williamson
                    Bagley
                    Bol

with Vanderbilt, Gabriel, Alexander, SKJ, King, Baker as backups..... that team may not be challenged much, let alone beat.

A day or so ago after the U19 ended, Langford made a comment to the effect of, "I don't like sitting when I know I can play." Could pretty easily be interpreted as shade toward Cal.

I hope I'm wrong, but I highly doubt this happens. I don't think you'll see Bagley and Williamson on the same team (a matter of stardom, not position), and Bol Bol and Bagley competing for the same spot isn't likely, either.

Ehhhh, Langford won't sit at UK....he should know that. I don't think he comes to UK however anyway.

I highly doubt it too. Just going by their predictions at this time.

I, too, think it's much more likely Bol and Bagley come than Bagley and Williamson if we manage to get two of those three. Either way, I think Bol and Quickley are near locks at this point. Which is a good start. Bagley and Williamson will probably go into next May or June.

I'd rather have Bagley over Bol, and I'm afraid Bol will commit to UK first and scare off Bagley.

Williamson said recently he wants to make a decision before his senior season. We'll see about that.
