I am wrong that i went from being a fan of Bagley's to now hoping he either A. Is ruled ineligible or B. Duke plays him only to have a season forfeited and all the wins taken away lol lol lol lol. We all may be sitting here thinking that Cal didn't do his job or even possibly ticked off that Cal didn't land him but who knows, maybe Cal and company knew something we didn't and just decided to back off and look in another direction, i dont know? Just seems that at one time he was a lock for Kentucky then something changed....

I feel the same way. Don't care how childish it may be.

Is what it is, Kentucky comes first over any player. They either with us or against us but on a side note, the Celtics may be in position to draft either Porter Jr., Bagley, or Ayton this year in the NBA draft if the NETS finish as projected. Personally, i think Ayton is the next big thing and they compare him to Anthony Davis skillset wise....

I think Sandy Bell, and Mitch to a lesser degree, have "influenced" some of the recruiting decisions since Cal's been here. I just think everyone has erred on the side of safety when it comes to questionable recruits, especially since the Enes fiasco and the Anthony Davis $200,000 rumors.

And when Cal, or maybe even the kid, has insisted (Skal), they have really been cautious.

I think there are a few other players over the years who fell into that "questionable" category and we passed on t hem..

Perhaps you guys are right. But it kinda feels like saying we didn't get him because we didn't want him might be a little naive. Feels to me like K is getting whomever he wants these days and the likelihood of any of them being ruled ineligible is very slim once they're under his umbrella. Even if they wind up ineligible nothing will be negated because "the party involved would not cooperate with the investigation (ala Magette)."

I certainly hope that's the case. That's why they're there.

I've watched Ayton out here on the west coast and he's a good player but not as polished as MB III at this stage...lets see what happens with Ayton and MB IIIs game development in college. If Celtics get a Top 5 pick again next season Danny should go for Porter Jr or MB III.

Either of the 3 would be good for me but if Porter Jr. is as good as advertised, i say go with him as my top choice, would seem to fit well in Boston both on and off the court....

If you need a center then Celtics should go for Ayton.

They say he is just a step below Anthony Davis in regards to potential..

Cam Reddish was caught on camera with LeBron James' agent. That's not great.

Also, Kentucky will get the first R.J. Barrett visit.

Also also, it looks like Cal didn't throw out an offer to Louis King which is sort of surprising.

2018 recruiting starting to really heat up....

Dominoes will begin to fall soon. I'm not sure there will be as many hold out for the Spring signing period as there were in the past.

At this point I predict Barrett, Zion, Quickley, and Shittu....possibly one more. I'm not sure if that one more will be Keldon Johnson, or if Johnson will replace Zion....
