One more thing that's become apparent to me: we're in a different era, as I think Fox/Monk are at a different level than Wall/Bledsoe were from a purely physical standpoint. This ain't 2010 any more folks. As Calipari would say, wowwwwww

I only got to see part of this game last night. I have it on my DVR so I'll have to rewatch it all maybe tonight. But WoW! I'm trying not to be too giddy this early in the season. I keep telling myself tougher competition is coming and there are still about 35 games left. But man alive if you don't like this UK team you will never like one. Fastest team I have ever seen UK have. Cal sees this too and he's pushing them to run,run,run. I love it. Fox and Monk are just freaks. Just an amazing play I saw on the highlights where Monk just flipped a ball headed out of bounds to Gabriel. Fox's triple double is the highlight of the night. It is a weird anomaly that UK had only one other in history and it would be by one of their most infamous players,Chris Mills.
I know this team is going to have close games. Maybe even Saturday and certainly by the UNC game. But you still wonder how someone will beat them. It would have to be someone who can slow the game down to a snails pace and be able to force it inside and hit a good number of three's. Just enjoy all of this folks it may never get better.

This is the first time since the 77-78 season that UK has scored 100 or more points three straight games. That season turned out well. Last time a UK team scored 100 four straight games was the 70-71 season.

I think you're right, and this is incredible when you think about it. What's the reason for this? Should basketball be the new measuring stick for human evolution?
