Bowie was close but not quite like Davis. Bowie didn't rebound as well as Davis. Davis was a better shot blocker but not by much. And Davis could handle the ball better although Bowie could handle pretty well too. Bowie's offensive game was better. Bowie could shoot front he outside very well. He would have made some three's if that was around back then. He had a nice touch around the rim too. Davis had the benefit of a late growth spurt so he played guard and forward early on. So he had some built in smoothness that Bowie didn't. I would have take Davis first in this draft. He was once in a lifet time player that we will never see again. It would be great to see Davis g against Bowie in their primes. Great matchup that both would have some advantages.

With some serious thought for a couple reasons. There are still some very good players to be drafted, and there will be 20 of those picked before I pick again. With the first pick of the 3rd round, I select as my PG, Brandon Knight. So far my team is Cousins, Prince and Knight.

Will is now on the clock, and if I understand correctly, has until 1PM Monday. Wow, that was quick.

Good pick Will. I was torn between Knight and Epps. Your pick was not a surprise to me. Teamchemistry is now on the clock.

So let me tell you a story about the white hope for the Celtics. You see my first real memories of basketball was mixed from Bowie and the Wildcats to the 84 Celtics and Lakers. On one hand you had the new flavor of the month with a star studded cast of athletes running up and down the floor dunking the ball shooting the three pointers. On the other hand, you had 3 slow white guys in Ainge, Bird, and McHale, a unorthodoxed center goofy looking center named Parrish, and a Saul Smith style moving point guard in Dennis Johnson. I may have been young, but i wasn't dumb and it was plain to see, no way this Celtic teams beats this star studded cast of athletes and hall of famers including Magic Johnson, Kareem, James Worth, Michael Cooper, Byron Scott, McAdoo, Wilkes, and Rambis....

Long story short, i chose the underdogs and it's been that way ever since.I think it's safe to say that in America the minorities have always been the underdog, wouldn't you agree?? Whether it's the skinny white kid born and bred backwoods in Kentucky trying to make the University of Kentucky's basketball team or the not so fortunate hood raised child with every stripe against him trying to make it out of the ghetto and live to see his 18th birthday, it's all the same.....

And you have a ball hawk on the point who can make everyone else better on the offensive end.. Plus you know Rondo can get to the rim anytime he wants to kick to your shooter or dump to your big. I like what your doing and i have always said what if Rondo and Meeks every played in the same backcourt together, the coast to coast speed is off the charts for those two...
