Wow, I apologize for "calling the shots" although I wasn't meaning to come across that way. I was the one trying to select Kemp. The more I thought about it the more I felt like they should have worn the uniform and played in a game. I have always enjoyed this board and yes, I was on it years ago but I changed screen names (can't remember my previous one). Chill out big guy...I'll go back to how I was before and simply come here and read everyone's thoughts.

Don't worry about him. He makes more money than all of us, knows more about everything, is prettier, and rubs elbows with the big shots. You gave your opinion which happens to be what message boards are for and what seems to be most of us agree on. Thanks for the participation.

We can't go on an "if" like that. When it comes to Kentucky Basketball the "if's" list could be a mile long!

When it comes to scorers of the past, it all depends on the coach. What if Rick let Mashburn or Mercer,Walker, etc go off with 25 shots a game? No way Meeks scores 54 under Tubby. Gillispie was wild but he would let a scorer shoot it at will, look at R. Bradley under Gillispie. What if Booker had 25 shots in a game or Lamb?

He isn't trying to call any shots. No one is. He gave his opinion, which we are all doing, and agreeing on ideas together as a group. It doesn't matter if he hasn't been on here for ten years like a few of us. That doesn't mean his opinion is any less valuable.

Again, the rules. Please take the time to go back and read this thread from the beginning. We all gave ideas on rules and agreed on them. Then we started the draft. If you would have read the rules at first we wouldn't be having the discussion about Kemp, Kanter, transfers, or freshmen this year. It is a simple concept that was going pretty smooth. Because we all agreed on the rules before it began.

How you expect me to find the RULES through 17 pages of this and that, i don't even know if the rules are posted andI don't have time for all that. All is know is if you played for Kentucky, your in, if you didn't your not. I still think Kanter should be eligible because he was there and let's be honest, he made Josh Harrellson better in practice everyday and that has to account for something, just saying.....

Would of could of should of. Chapman actually had his heart on playing for Louisville with Jerome Harmon but the good ol boys of Kentucky changed his mind, IROCK Z28 and then some lol lol lol lol... Keep posting. Seems like we lost alot of members when the site was hijacked. There used to be tons of people here posting all the time. Not sure if it was because everyone was ticked off at Tubby and Gillispie or what??? Tubby Smith and Billy Gillespie had me on a downtown bridge ready to leap into the Ohio river lol lol lol lol

Well i still get up and put my pants on in the morning like everyone else and i woke up above ground so i cant complain . Hell, i can't ever recall being at a funeral and seeing money in a coffin and most so called Big Shots are pricks.

As for being pretty, i don't know about all that either but when all else fails, go to Russia or Ukraine and find you a 25 year old model. You can have a good time for 90 days, 6 months, sometimes 3 years depending on what angle your playing lol lol lol lol lol. There's enough to go around for everyone lol lol

Sam Bowie is my next pick. Before his leg injury he was good as anyone I have seen at UK.

I ran into Sam Bowie after a Uk/Ul game during the Tubby era. Louisville was at home that year and spanked us good. Bowie,Donna Smith, and two other people stopped at a store right off exit 35 on the way back to Lexington . Standing in line with my Uk gear on, i just looked at Bowie and shook my head, he shook his head and that was it, nothing else to say lol lol lol....

I totally disagree about Davis, that goes to Wall and Cousins in regards to the modern era. It really goes back to Jamal Mashburn. His commitment led to 2 titles and a fluke game against Arizona in 97. After the death penalty, Mashburn set the tone for the past 25 years in my opinion. ..If the 90's don't happen, expectations go away and no need to beg Calipari to take the job....

Davis is the greatest to ever play here and then there's a decent step down to #2. Most polished for the most part. Just didn't make mistakes. Cousins walked up and down the court and was mired in almost constant foul trouble. Wall would turn it over with amazing regularity. Mashburn was a freak but not like Davis.

Now if they would've stayed two years it would have been interesting. DeMarcus Cousins with two years would have been totally unstoppable. Wall could've cleared up the turnover stuff maybe. But going from what actually happened I've never seen a better player than Davis wear the uniform.
