Mock drafts now have Skal moving up because of this. In Skal's defense, not playing ball his senior year may have contributed to his slow start in college but overall, Skal is still a freak. He may be weak for now until he builds his body up but with his size, his jump shot is going to come in very handy for some team down the road. Skal dissapointed us all in a "i want it now era" but overall, i think Skal is a very good prospect and if he can get paid and bring relief to his family, good for him........

I read this morning that he withdrew from the draft but is likely to transfer from MSU. If so, that would be pretty crazy. Wonder if he regrets choosing MSU?

Rumors online that he just never went to class under the assumption that he was going to be in the NBA after a year.

He didn't do much at MSU and sounds like his workouts did not amount to much based on feedback he received. Wouldn't surprise me if he just goes overseas for a year to make some money be a overseas pro and hope he will stand out better in workouts next season, then enter. Malik comes across like Simmons not interested in school just was "playing the game" to meet NBA requirements.
