I don't enjoy this particular tradition. I love his enthusiasm; but....

I feel sorry for the guy but that could've ended horribly.

I don't think he meant any harm at all. But what he did was reckless. That upper arena section in Rupp is really steep. I would always feel uneasy trying to walk down those stairs. I couldn't imagine trying to slide down the railing holding someone and being able to be balanced at the end. I'm quite sure he won't try that stunt again. I would say someone from UK will give a strong warning to not try it either.

              He's actually in the lowers.

I think the more obscene thing here is that Rupp still plays "What's Your Favorite Color, Baby?" and "Mony Mony."

Those should've been retired back in '87.

I think the guy is a jackass and his little performances got stale like five years ago.

When he started dry-humping the guard rail, I checked out.

Hopefully this will stop the shenanigans completely.

That is SO true. Doing away with that song would kill two birds with one stone.

It's not his fault they still play those crappy songs. It wouldn't matter what is being played, the guy would still dance. I happen to like it. He is having fun and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. Granted, he won't be sliding anyone down the railing again, but let the guy have his fun. He isn't hurting anyone. Resorting to name calling and bashing the guy is a little over the top imo.

It looked like the uppers to me. Oh well. I don't mind him doing that. He looks the buffoon part and I think he likes it that way. Most of the time he is bothering no one. I'm sure if I sat close to him after the first couple of times he did his dance I would probably pay no attention.

Can't believe they still do Mony Mony. I believe they were doing that in the 70's.

That's a crucial point of the game, too, when everything is getting tight and usually Kentucky is playing really well and the crowd is going crazy.

                          And then...

                          WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR, BABY?!?

You don't know how many times I've sat there in that building with my head in my hands, silently cursing that monstrosity of a song. I hate to be *that guy*, the one who complains about petty stuff, but they could do better. UK has one of the most creative video teams I've ever seen, but whoever's in charge of the audio and the in-game experience needs to be reminded that the '80s are over.

So, that girl could have broken her neck. And the tune would be much different today towards Dancing Guy if that had happened, I'm guessing.

I don't care if he dances, but for the love of all decency, please never pick up someone and try to glide down the steps again.

I'm pretty interested to see if they play the song anymore after yesterday.

I guess I'm too old but I was not familiar with that song at all. I had to look it up on Youtube. The UK band used to play Gimme Some Lovin' all the time. Do they still do that one? I know they were doing that one back in the mid 70's.
