Oh yea, no doubt about that. That will be a very tough game for UK to win. I really don't expect a win at all down there.

If this team could pull out a win at LSU, it could be a huge confidence builder for sure. But, I don't expect a win. I wish Skal would "get it," and come out of this funk shell he's in.

Write it down...LSU will play their best game so far and the arena will be sold out

That happens at every SEC arena, and we best be ready.

LSU is a shocking 93rd in the KenPom rankings. They're 100+ in both offense and defense.

With the best player in the nation.

That's incredible. And again, it's a testament to what Cal and Coach K have done. Very hard to win with young teams. You can't just have talent in this sport. You have to coach it.

Going way out on the limb on that one, heh?

According to ESPN Ben Simmons could become just the 3rd ever player to be taken #1 after not making the NCAA tourney (Doug Collins, Michael Olowakandi).

                Incredible.

However, I am still nervous for that game next week. I still believe LSU is better than they have been playing.

This many games is enough time to call it. They suck.

But when you have that sort of individual talent you never know, especially at home. In basketball one guy can be an enormous difference-maker on a given night.

I kind of agree. However, they have only had their full lineup for a few games now that Hornsby and Victor are back. With that much talent (I think 4 5 star guys) you would think that at some point they figure something out. Maybe not....

And Simmons knows the two games against UK will be his time to shine, I wont be surprised at all if he puts up 30 and 15....I would be fine with him having a huge game as long as we can control everyone else. That place is going to be packed to the brim, will be their biggest home game of the year without a doubt.

I think Poythress (the good version) can limit Simmons.

He can match him in size and is stronger than Ben. If Poy shows up it could be a great matchup.

Good point with Poythress, I just hope he doesn't come out of the gate out of control aggressive and pick up a couple quick fouls, then we'll be in trouble. You hate to give up buckets but in the first half when a guy beats you i'd rather let him have a layup than foul ourselves out the game.

This was the first time I actually got to sit down and watch Simmons. He had 36 and 14 I think. It seemed to be a quiet 36 if that is even possible. He makes it look so easy to the point he doesn't even seem to be trying. I often thought to myself "I wonder what he could do if he played hard?" I know he does, it all just seems effortless. Towards the end of the first half he ran into a Vandy coach. On his way back down the court he turned around, looked at their bench, and kind of screamed in shock or disbelief. I am not sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone on their bench said something. It was right after that he started going off and playing with emotion. I am not sure we will be able to slow him down either. Poythress gives us the best chance, but I could still see him getting 30 and 15 against us in primetime.

I'll give LSU credit. That was a good win in Nashville. They needed that one badly. Now Vandy is quickly turning into a disappointment. Their record fell to 8-5 with that loss.

One of their main guys is hurt so I still think Vandy is legit.
