Hey Ben, win a game smh. Thats why you go to UK,Duke, Kansas, maybe North Carolina. You play for a championship and still go top 3 in the draft...

To be honest Skal is not helping his draft stock. He may not be a one and done. He will get broken in half in the pros. Of course it seems the scouts always see it different than me.

@ESPNCBB: Ben Simmons is the only D1 player in the last 20 years with at least 80 Pts, 70 Reb & 30 Ast in the 1st 5 games. https://t.co/WSnH5Zvuru

Simmons needs to be more selfish. He defers an awful lot. He only took one shot in the first half last night. He did end up with a double/double in assists and rebounds. It may be because he is a freshman and trying to fit in with the team. Also partly Jonny Jones and his great coaching too. You have to set plays up for him, especially in late game situations. LSU was clearly better in talent than WF and NC State but blew both games. LSU will be good but they will find ways to lose close games at the end.

LSU's offense is essentially Simmons driving and kicking out for a three. Every time. LSU had taken 30 of them I believe toward the end of the game last night. Cal would have Simmons playing completely differently...again, not that it's going to matter. He'll be the #1 pick and his college career will always be a footnote.

LSU also has a human tank in the middle. Guy is like 300 pounds. They never throw him the ball. They take a three literally every time. It's weird to watch.

That Sampson kid seems like a really good shooter. The others are inconsistent at best. Just a poorly coached team. Simmons would have been so much better under Cal or really just about anyone else. He will still be a number one pick so it doesn't matter to him financially. But I would say he will struggle more at the beginning of his NBA career than most others or any top picks that have come under Cal.

Vandy thumped WF. Kansas beat UCLA which sets up a pretty good game between Kansas and Vandy tonight in Maui. I'll have to check on the time of that game and try to watch.

Thanks. I looked it up right after I posted that. I hope I can stay up to watch that. I believe it will be a good one.

I am sure glad he didn't go to a blue blood school, of course unless it was us. Pretty crazy how he committed so quick to LSU, and unfortunately his talents will be wasted when it comes the the win loss column due to awful coaching.

                            Simmons had 43, 14, and 7 tonight.

                              Uh, wow....

Ben Simmons is the only major conference player in the last 20 seasons with at least 40 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists & 5 steals in a game.

They needed every point of it to beat a team that Louisville destroyed last week.

Not sure how they can be as mediocre as they are with a player of that caliber. I get bad coaching, but it's still weird.
