Where do the rumors even come from? Does anyone have any conclusive proof of anything? I feel like everyone is just making stuff up and then it gets repeated enough to get a tiny bit of credibility.

Could be, I guess you never really know for sure.

I read Freeman's camp wants him at UConn if they can make the money work, but like I said who knows. Maybe it's for the best long-term that Pope crashes & burns this off-season & they proceed to go 16-17 and miss the tournament. At which point Pope would be gone and we try again.
