It’s disappointing that they lost, but it was still fun.

I think the best thing from it is Khalil Whitney. Nobody had anything but negative things to say about him before this summer. But then he comes back and plays really hard and well and becomes a crowd favorite. A nice little redemption story.

He was a revelation and you know it has to feel good for him to do that.

Really hope they bring him back next summer.

That was just terrible basketball to watch. I’ve seen better pick up games.

It had been apparent that the decision to pull him out of UK was made by his dad and other "handlers" and not his decision. While he was a grown adult, being 18-19 years old (he left just after his 19th birthday) and away from home for the first time, with family leaning on you hard to go one way... it's at least understandable why he did what he did. I can imagine he regrets it, especially given how "leaving to prepare for the draft" didn't work out for him. Didn't even do well in the G league and has bounced back and forth across the globe with brief stints in Croatia and New Zealand along with Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
