My dad texted me the other day about UK playing Friday night and if they win they play Sunday afternoon. I seriously thought I had imagined it being summer and it was March. Then came to find out he was referencing this lol

For those that watch the TBT the game is now on FS1. Just a heads up.

I just love watching these players most of them have a spot in our nice history!

Most of these guys are currently playing or recently played overseas. With the exception of a couple who played in college last year. Most of these guys had various opportunities in the NBA, so I just think it's cool to see a group of players like this come together and have some fun trying to win a little coin. Can't say if I'll watch all the games. I'll watch the ones I can, but it's still fun to watch regardless. Not sure why people come into a thread about the Tournament just to tell us how much they don't care about it and how they won't watch it.
            Spot on!

Early surprise of the team goes to “the Dragon”, playing with a lot of energy. I’m sure I’m in the minority, but I’m happy to see a guy like that come back and represent UK. Almost like a repentance of sorts

I love all the former players but one that never played a minute ever just used our facilities as a training facility. I’m not even going to mention his name we all know who it is.

Yep. I didn't have a lot of nice things to say about him when he bolted. Fast forward to recently where he talked about his internal struggles here and I changed my tune. It's a lot of pressure being a highly regarded HS player and come to a program like Kentucky. Some handle it and some can't. I'm a sucker for 2nd chances/redemption stories. I hope he kills it in this tournament.

Son and his friends went. He said two jerkwads got thrown out of the game and the crowd cheered lol.

He said the best moments were Kahlil Whitney. Crowd was really behind him (Archie too). It's interesting because my son's 21 so he doesn't know the lore of those two, but he could tell how much the crowd was behind them.

He and his friends went to every game last year and he says this team is better, mostly because of Archie. Although the frontcourt might be an issue. He says Willie's badly out of shape and can only play a minute or two at a time.
